Ekhio vs eqMac
Both equalize everything your Mac plays and both switch presets on their own. eqMac has a free version and runs on Intel Macs; its Pro tier is a subscription or a lifetime license. Ekhio has no free version, but everything is included for one payment, it reacts to your calls, and it corrects your speakers by measuring the room.

Pick Ekhio if…
- You spend the day on calls and want voices clear without touching anything, and your music back when you hang up.
- Your speakers sound different in your room than in the store: Ekhio measures it with the Mac’s mic and corrects it.
- You’d rather pay once than add another subscription.
