Ekhio vs Boom 3D
Both equalize everything your Mac plays and ship headphone curves. Boom 3D, by Global Delight, is about effects: 3D surround, boosting volume past the maximum, even a player with radio stations. Ekhio goes the other way: making your speakers sound the way they should in your room, with no effect on top, and switching profiles on its own.

Pick Boom 3D if…
- You want a 3D surround effect on regular headphones.
- Your speakers aren’t loud enough and you want to push past the maximum.
- A player with radio stations in the same app is useful to you.
Pick Ekhio if…
- You want corrected, natural sound, not an effect on top.
- You want it to measure your room with the mic and correct your speakers.
- You want it to switch on its own: voice on calls, music with Spotify, movie with video.
